The holidays are meant to bring joy and excitement, but when financial difficulties are present, it can exacerbate stress. Our "STEP into the Holidays" initiative is designed to alleviate some of these expenses and bring some much-needed holiday cheer
Sharing the Joy
Every year STEP matches military families with donors who "adopt" them for the holidays. Clients fill out a wish list for themselves and their children, and the donor will shop for those items and send them to STEP for our Sharing the Joy Distribution. Clients that are not adopted still have the chance to participate in our Toy Drive Distribution, where they can come with their little ones to select toys .
Thanksgiving
STEP's annual Thanksgiving Food Drive involves collecting thanksgiving food items from the community to create a festive and fulfilling holiday for military and Veteran families facing financial difficulty. We work hand in hand with corporations, organizations, and individuals to gather a diverse range of items to be distributed, ensuring that no one goes without a holiday meal on this special occasion.
